The best characteristic of the Xotic RC Booster is that it has no character at all. By connecting the RC Booster between your guitar and other effect pedals, it will sustain your original guitar sound all the way to amp, as well as emphasizing any effects sound characteristics. It also acts as a buffer, fighting against signal degradations caused by long cable runs and electromagnetic noise. The GAIN control has the characteristics of a clean tube amp and by fine turning it you can create a bold and smooth sound which resembles the sound of an amp with its volume cranked. In addition to its GAIN control, the RC Booster also comes equipped with VOLUME, TREBLE, and BASS controls that allow you to contour your sound anyway you like. Switching is true bypass, eliminating any signal interference when it is switched out. It also works great with electric bass guitar and acoustic guitar. The RC Booster is all hand wired and hand crafted in the U.S.A., and can be used with AC adaptor (optional - neg tip) or 9V Battery (included).
